This is an inexpensive (less than $3.00 a pound) recipe similar to Dinovite, Solid Gold Seameal, Nupro, Focus SR, VitaHound and Blue buffalo's LifeSource Bits. _______________________________________________________ (Dogs: 10 lb and under 1/2 tsp. 2 times daily) _ ( Dogs:10-15 lb 1 tsp. 2X daily) _ (Dogs:15-25 lb 2 tsp. 2X daily) _ (Dogs:25-40 lb 1 tbsp. 2X daily) _ (Dogs: 40-60 lb 2 tbsp. 2X daily) _ (Dogs: 60-80 lb 3 tbsp. 2X daily) _ (Dogs: 80 lb and over ¼ cup 2X daily) ___________________________________________________________ Note: find Live-Bac by TechMix at feed shops or equestrian stores do not leave out or substitute

Ingredients

1 cup flax seed
1/4 cup meal kelp (kelp meal feed or food grade shop around do not pay more than $2.75 lb)
1/4 cup dried shiitake mushroom (found in Asian markets)
1 tablespoon parsley (dried)
1 tablespoon live-bac starter culture (Live-Bac by TechMix)
1 teaspoon lysine protein powder (Use Pure Lysine, its easy to find as a horse or human supplement)
1 teaspoon bee pollen
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Steps:

In blender or coffee grinder add all ingredients except Live-Bac.
Blend until combined and the mix is as fine or finer than ground coffee.
Pour blender contains into a storage container and add Live-Bac.
Shake well to mix.
Refrigeration is recommended but not necessary.
Enjoy mixed in kibble with a small amount of water added.
When first introducing this supplement into a dog's diet start with ¼ the recommend amount and slowly increase serving size to the recommend quantity over a week or two.
