12 c popped popcorn
12 oz salted peanuts
1 c corn syrup
1/4 c butter
12 oz milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. In a large greased roasting pan, combine popcorn and nuts.
  • 2. In a large heavy saucepan combine chocolate chips, corn syrup and butter.
  • 3. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly.
  • 4. Pour mixture over popcorn and toss well to coat.
  • 5. Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • 6. Cool completely.
  • 7. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

1 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300F degrees.
  • Grease a large roasting pan.
  • Combine popcorn and nuts in prepared roasting pan.
  • Combine morsels, corn syrup and butter in a medium, heavy-duty saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
  • Pour over popcorn and toss well to coat.
  • Bake, stirring frequently for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Loosen popcorn from pan and allow to cool slightly in pan.
  • Remove to a wax paper lined cookie sheet to cool completely.
  • Keeps for two weeks in an airtight container in the fridge-yeah, right!
