MIKE'S HOT TODDY

This recipe is the final outcome of trying out different concoctions. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but my BF just can't stop drinking it (whether he's sick or not!) You can use any whiskey you like but he says this one works best.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
2 ounces johnnie walker black label whiskey
4 ounces hot water
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash cinnamon
1 dash clove

Steps:

  • Squeeze a piece of lemon (1 tablespoon) into a microwave-safe mug.
  • Add the spoonful of honey, whiskey and hot water.
  • Microwave until piping hot (maybe 30-45 secs).
  • Add spices to taste.
  • Chase that cold away!
