Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

3/4 cup baking cocoa
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1/3 cup instant coffee granules
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS (for each serving):
1 cup hot fat-free milk
1 cinnamon stick, optional

Steps:

In a blender, combine the first seven ingredients; cover and process until mixture forms a powder. Store in an airtight container. Yield: about 2-1/4 cups mix. , To prepare mocha drink: In a mug, stir 3 tablespoons mix with 1 cup hot milk until blended. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.

Mexican Mocha Recipe - Rich chocolatey mocha with a kick of cinnamon and spicy heat.

Ingredients

6 ounces strong coffee (or two shots espresso)
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1-3 tablespoons heavy cream (or half & half)

Steps:

In a small bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.
Pour the coffee in a large mug, stir in the cocoa mix, until smooth. Then add cream to taste.
I usually like to make a larger batch of the Mexican Mocha Mix so I can make them quickly when needed. See batch instructions below.

9.6 ounces dry powdered nonfat milk
8 ounces unsweetened cocoa powder ((I used Hershey's Special Dark))
2 ounces instant espresso powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper ((or to taste))

Steps:

Add all ingredients to a container with a tight-fitting lid. Shake to combine.
To prepare, stir two tablespoons of mix into 8-12 ounces of hot milk.

You can make this and store it in a air tight container or give it out as a gift. If you do, tuck a heavy-duty resealable plastic bag of the mix into a decorative bag and include a bag of mini marshmallows.

Beat in the vanilla and eggs, then scrape the bowl. Slowly add in the flour. The dough will look like brownie batter. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm enough to roll by hand.
