Maxwell House Instant Iced Coffee Recipes

MAXWELL HOUSE ICED COFFEE

Steps:

• Place coffee in filter in brew basket of coffee maker. Add water to coffee maker; brew.
• Cool completely. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
• Serve over ice.

ICED MOCHA COFFEE

Steps:

• 1. In a large coffee cup or coffee mug, add the water and instant coffee. (I added the ingredients to one 16-ounce coffee mug.) Place coffee cup or mug in a microwave, and microwave until coffee is heated through.
• 2. Stir the coffee, and place cup or mug in the refrigerator for 30 minutes; to chill.
• 3. To the cup or mug, add the chocolate syrup, half-and-half cream, plus 1-2 packets of Splenda; (I used 1-1/2 packets) stir to mix.
• 4. Add ice cubes to a tall beverage glass. Pour coffee over the ice cubes, and top it with a dollop or two of Cool Whip or Reddi Wip.
• 5. This makes: One serving (1-1/3 cups, or 11-ounces)
• 6. *Note: When making this coffee beverage, I've also used a Decaf Instant Coffee, such as Maxwell House or Folgers. The chocolate syrup I use is Hershey's Lite Chocolate Syrup. Which has 50% Less Sugar, Carbs, & Calories than regular Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. Also, on occasions I have used 2 Tablespoons of Heavy Whipping Cream, plus 2 Tablespoons of 2% milk, instead of half-and-half cream.

EASY ICED COFFEE

Steps:

• For this recipe you will need a large size glass jar with a tight fitting lid. (I use an 8-ounce glass jar that the instant coffee came in. It is equivalent to holding 3 cups of liquid.)
• Place the instant coffee and sugar in a glass jar.
• Add the 'hot' water to the jar, place lid on jar, and seal jar tight. Shake the jar vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
• Remove lid from the jar, add the milk, and vanilla, if using, and then swirl the jar around for a bit.
• Add the coffee to a tall beverage glass which has been filled with ice, and enjoy your iced coffee.
• *Note: I usually use Folgers or Maxwell House Instant Coffee when making this iced coffee, but if you use Taster's Choice 100% Columbian Instant Coffee, I would decrease the amount of coffee to 2 tsp. I have found the 100% Columbian Coffee has a much stronger taste to it, but I also think it makes this iced coffee taste great! Also, when adding the 'hot' water, I heat the water in a small saucepan ontop the stove. One more thing, I prefer to use ice cubes that are large in size, as they don't dilute the ice coffee as quickly as the smaller cubes do.

MAXWELL HOUSE INSTANT ICED COFFEE

Steps:

• Dissolve coffee granules in cold water in tall glass. Add milk and sugar; stir until blended.
• Add ice cubes. Serve topped with COOL WHIP.

INSTANT ICED COFFEE RECIPE

Steps:

• Begin by adding 1 to 2 teaspoons of instant ground coffee and ⅓ cup of your favorite creamer to a glass. Stir well so that the coffee grounds are evenly mixed throughout the creamer. You will notice that the coffee grounds start dissolving, but they probably will not be dissolved all the way yet.
• Next, add ⅔ cup of cold water to the glass to fully dissolve the coffee. If you want a lighter coffee flavor, you can add up to 1½ cup of water to the glass. Stir consistently until the coffee fully dissolves. This may take a few minutes. So, expect to be stirring for a bit.
• After the coffee has completely dissolved, add as much ice as you like. Enjoy!
