MARSHMALLOW APPLE PIE
I remember walking into my grandmothers house and the wonderful smell of this pie. It is really very good.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees F). Line pie pan with plain pastry.
- Peel, remove core and slice apples. Place in pie shell.
- Combine sugar, salt and nutmeg. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter.
- Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 30 minutes, or until crust is brown and the apples are tender. Remove from oven.
- Cover the apples with halved marshmallows. Brown in slow oven 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Serve warm.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix the apple slices, white sugar, 2 1/2 tablespoons of flour, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon together until thoroughly combined; spread out into a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter with nutmeg and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon; stir in the brown sugar, oats, 1 cup of flour, and mini marshmallows until thoroughly combined. Spread the marshmallow topping evenly over the apples, and gently flatten the topping to a smooth layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes.

- FOR THE CUPCAKES:Preheat oven to 350F. In the bowl of a mixer, mix together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add in the eggs and mix. Add in the milk, oil and vanilla; mix until everything is combined. Mix for 2-3 minutes Mix in the boiling water. (Batter will be very VERY thin!) Line a muffin/cupcake tin with liners. Fill each cupcake liner with a little less than 1/4 cup of batter. (About 2/3 of the way full) Bake for 18 minutes or until done. Cool Completely. FOR THE FROSTING:Pour melted butter into the bowl of a mixer., Mix in the cocoa. Add in 3 cups of powered sugar. Mix well. Add in 1/3 cup of milk and mix well. Add in the rest of the powered sugar and mix well. Add in the rest of the milk and mix well. Stir in vanilla. To make the frosting thicker add more powdered sugar. To make the frosting thinner add more milk. TO ASSEMBLE: Place frosted cupcakes into the fridge for about 10 minutes to chill the frosting. Melt marshmallows and water in microwave for about 30 seconds. Stir/heat until melted. Use your fingers to carefully pick up a bit of the melted marshmallow and spread it apart to form a spider web. Carefully pull it and wrap it around the chilled icing and cupcake. Cupcake frosting must be chilled to be able to wrap marshmallow web.

- Line a baking sheet with waxed paper; generously coat waxed paper with cooking spray. Wash and dry apples; remove stems. Insert pop sticks into apples., In a large heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add marshmallows; stir until melted. Dip apples, one at a time, into warm marshmallow mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Place on prepared baking sheet and refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes., Place graham cracker crumbs in a shallow dish. In top of a double boiler or a metal bowl over barely simmering water, melt chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Dip bottom half of apples in chocolate; dip bottoms in cracker crumbs. Place on baking sheet. Refrigerate until set.

MARSHMALLOW WEB APPLES
Steps:
- Wash and dry the apples and remove the stems. Insert a wooden apple skewer or paper straw into each about halfway through (pierce first with a skewer if using straws). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Microwave the marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue to microwave in 10-second increments, stirring after each, until fully melted. Let cool until just slightly warm to the touch, not hot.
- Using both hands, grab the melted marshmallows with your fingertips and pull apart to create a "webbed" look. Wrap webs around each apple (see Cook's Note).
MARSHMALLOW WEB CANDIED APPLES
Steps:
- Lay a large piece of parchment paper on a work surface. Insert a wooden stick into each apple at the stem end.
- Combine the sugar, corn syrup and 1 cup water in a saucepan fitted with a candy thermometer. Bring to a boil and cook until it registers 302 degrees F. Remove from the heat and allow the bubbles to subside, about 2 minutes. Add 1 drop of soft gel red food coloring and the entire bottle of cinnamon candy flavoring oil, then stir well. Again, allow the bubbles to subside.
- Hold an apple by the stick and tilt the pan so the candy pools to one side. Dip the apple and swirl to fully coat, then transfer to the parchment. Repeat with 3 more apples. Stir in enough soft gel blue food coloring to the remaining candy to create a deep purple. Dip the remaining apples in the same manner. Let the apples stand until the candy is hardened, about 5 minutes.
- For the marshmallow web, microwave the mini marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds at 100 percent power. Stir until the marshmallows lose their shape. Let cool slightly, then pick up some of the marshmallow between your thumb and forefinger. Use your other thumb and forefinger to stretch the marshmallow into strands, and quickly wrap the stretchy strands around the apples. Continue with the remaining marshmallows and apples.
