Steps:
- Whisk together the ingredients for (one) marinade in a small bowl until combined.
- Combine marinade with pork in a ziplock freezer bag, and toss until the pork is evenly coated in the marinade. Carefully press out any extra air that might be in the bag, then seal. (You will need 1/2 cup marinade per 1 pound of pork.)
- Refrigerate the pork pack(s) for anywhere from 30 minutes to up to 1 day.
- Immediately transfer the pork pack(s) to the freezer, and freeze for up to 3 months. Then when you're ready to cook the pork, transfer the pork pack back to the refrigerator for 24 hours, or until it has thawed completely. Or to speed up the process, you can submerge the sealed pork pack in a bowl of cold water in the refrigerator until it has thawed completely.
- When ready to cook, remove the pork from the marinade, discard the remaining marinade, and cook however you prefer. (See recommendations below.)
MARINATED PORK STEAKS
My local grocery store seems to put pork steaks on sale quite often, so I needed to find some other ways to make them. This makes them a little bit tropical, plus I just love grilled pineapple!!

Steps:
- Trim the excess fat from the pork steaks, and place them in a large shallow container.
- Drain the pineapple (if using fresh, just sub a can of pineapple juice in the marinade), reserving juice or syrup. Set pineapple slices aside.
- Combine pineapple juice/syrup, onion, soy sauce, oil, corn syrup, and ginger in a small saucepan, stirring well. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour over the pork steaks. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, turning steaks occasionally if possible.
- Remove the steaks from the marinade, reserving marinade. Grill steaks over low to medium coals for 35 minutes or until the desired degree of doneness. Turn and baste occasionally with the marinade.
- Grill the pineapple slices over medium coals for 1 minute on each side. Garnish the pork steaks with the pineapple slices.

MARINATED PORK STEAK
I love this recipe because it's easy to fix, and is very tasty. And it makes the meat so tender, no need for a knife. And you have many chioces in flavors, 6 or more. I just saw the ad for this product, the marinade, and had to try it. I cook the meat in the oven, so you have free time to prep or cook the side dishes, or do other things til the meat is done. It's a keeper.

Steps:
- I just came across this marinade in the grocery store, in the spice isle, and the flavors caught my eye, so I thought I'd try some.
- I was hooked.
- There are several more flavors available, 6-8 I think, all together.
- The Spicy Caribbean is my favorite.
- It is so good!
- Combine the marinade with 1/4 cup water, 2 tbsp's vegetable oil,& 1 tbsp of vinegar, as package states, in a 3 qt.
- glass casserole baking dish.
- Mix well.
- Put 3 good sized pork steaks into the casserole dish.
- Turn to coat both sides.
- You may want to add more marinade, to adjust for your taste.
- One package may not cover enough, according to the size of the steaks.
- Marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes or longer, depending on when you want to cook them.
- I've left them in overnight.
- Then, when you're ready to cook them, I cook them in the oven at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours.
- You can grill or broil them too, if desired.
- This can also be doubled too, 6 steaks, 2 pkgs.
- marinade, etc.
- This is so delicious, so tasty& tender.
- The meat just falls off the bone.
- And you can drain the fat off prior to eating, as well as pat them to rid even more fat.
- And the excess fat on the steaks is easily removed while eating.
- Their is several different flavors of this marinade, but this one is my favorite.
- It is a bit spicy, so be aware.
- But I love the spices in this flavor.
- And you can use beef& chicken as well.
- I love this dish!
- You will too!
- All you need to add is some mashed taters& gravy& a few veggies, and you're ready!

TOP 10 PORK MARINADE RECIPES - THE SPRUCE EATS
From thespruceeats.com
- Pork Chop Marinade. This Asian-style marinade works well on all cuts of pork but yields particularly moist and tasty pork chops. It is reminiscent of a teriyaki marinade with a hint of heat from the chili sauce.
- Pineapple Marinade. This sweet, fruity marinade works great on any cut of pork. You'll get a great Hawaiian-teriyaki flavor, perfect for when you're serving a simple pork-over-rice dish.
- Pork Chop and Tenderloin Marinade. Ideal for either chops or tenderloin cuts, this Asian-inspired marinade combines the best of savory flavors (peanuts, soy, and Worcestershire sauce) with fresh ginger and earthy liquid smoke.
- Jamaican Jerk Marinade. Jamaican jerk seasonings and jerk rubs provide amazing Caribbean flavors to the outsides of meats, but our marinade gets that great jerk flavor deep into the meat.
- Mustard-Vinegar Marinade. Like a delicious mustard-based salad dressing, this marinade is a nice break from the typical. The acidity of the vinegar and Dijon mustard tenderize the meat, adding flavor while the porks marinates.
- Teriyaki Marinade. Avoid all the preservatives in store-bought Teriyaki sauces by making your own in a snap. Our marinade doubles as a sauce. Simply cook it until it's thickened and use on top of your cooked pork or any other meat.
- Boston Butt Injection Marinade. Injecting is a method for adding flavor and moisture right into the meat. They're great in pork roasts that will be smoked and pulled, but you need to grind the herbs and spices in the sauce carefully so they won't clog the injection needle.
- Pork Rib Marinade. By using a pre-made pork rub and combining it with vinegar and water, the rub "magically" turns into a marinade! This is a great way to add flavor to ribs, regardless of how they are cooked.
- Bourbon Marinade. This sweet bourbon marinade is amazing on any type of meat. Although it is comprised of strong flavors like bourbon, brown sugar, mustard, oil, and Worcestershire sauce, the end result is actually somewhat mild.
- Pork Marinade for Stir-Fry. Our quick Chinese marinade for stir-fry will add wonderful notes of sherry (or Chinese rice wine) to your pork. If you're pressed for time, use this recipe and have wonderfully flavorful pork in no-time.
HOW TO MAKE A PORK MARINADE | FEATURES | JAMIE OLIVER
From jamieoliver.com
- Make your marinade the day before, or at least an hour before cooking. Start by bashing up 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, ½ teaspoon cumin seeds and 2 cloves in a pestle and mortar.
- Add 1 heaped tablespoon sweet smoked paprika and the zest and juice of 1 orange and muddle it all together.
- Peel and very finely chop 4 cloves of garlic, then pick and very finely chop 1 small bunch of fresh thyme and add both to the pestle and mortar.
- Lay 4 x 400g higher-welfare pork fillets on a tray and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Spoon over most of the marinade and massage it into the fillets until they’re completely coated (save a little for brushing over during cooking to build up a deliciously sticky blackened glaze).
- Leave the mighty ingredients to work their magic for at least an hour, preferably overnight, then you’re ready to get cooking.
