1 1/2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. DeKuyper Buttershots liqueur or butterscotch schnapps
1/4 oz. real maple syrup
1 oz. half-and-half
Fresh-ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Pour liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and top with fresh-ground nutmeg.

1 cup maple sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
6 marshmallows, regular cut in pieces
1 egg white

Steps:

  • Boil sugars, water and cream of tarter in saucepan untill it becomes brittle when dropped in cold water. Add marshmallws and let stand 5 minutes untill melted. Pour over stiffly beaten egg white. Beat till light. Drop from teaspoon on to wax paper.
