MAPLE LIQUEUR
I make pumpkintinis every fall and the recipe calls for maple liqueur. Well, you'd think that would be easy to find but it has been near impossible! My friend and I found 4 bottles in our state. So I decided to do some research and this is what I found and YUMMY....it's perfecto! Try a little in your coffee or your baked beans, experiment. It is delicious!

- Pour the whiskey into a pint jar or bottle with a tight fitting cork. Stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Store in the refrigerator.

CANADIAN MAPLE LIQUEUR
Great liqueur recipe using maple syrup that is excellent in BBQ sauces and marinades. Very unique taste that is good on its own but wonderful in baked goods. Simply substitute for Maple extract.....The recipe is ready for use after 2 weeks. Store the liqueur in the refrigerator.

RUM CREAM LIQUEUR
If you're watching your waistline then don't try this recipe, well once a year is okay LOL! This is a drink from heaven!.... Because of the raw eggs, I advise not to serve this to the elderly due to Salmonella. This recipe will make 1 litre, but I really suggest to double the amount.

- In medium saucepan, heat 1/2 cup cream with condensed milk and whisk-in vanilla extract and cocoa powder. Continue to heat until cocoa is fully incorporate and no flecks remain. Mix in Maple syrup and stir unless melted and completely combined.
- Cool for 5 minutes on counter top and whisk once more. Using a funnel, immediately pour mixture into bottles that have a seal. Chill in refrigerator for minimum 1 hour before serving. Drink within 10 days of making and shake well before serving.
