Mango Yogurt Parfait is a creamy & crunchy dessert made by layering mango puree, flavoured yogurt &granola alternatively and chilling it. Mango Yogurt Parfait is a cool, quick dessert to make the day & moment special. Mango Yogurt Parfait soothes the tummy & heart.

1 cup mango puree
3/4 cup thick yogurt
3/4 cup granola
2 tsp honey

Steps:

  • Peel the skin from mangoes, chop it roughly.
  • Transfer it to a mixer jar and puree it, set aside. Now get ready with other ingredients too.
  • Take yoghurt in a mixing bowl, add honey to it and whisk it well. Set aside.
  • Now take the serving glass, first add mango puree, then add yoghurt.
  • Now add granola, now repeat the same process till it reaches almost 3/4 of the rim of the glass.
  • Top it up with chopped mangoes if you like. Chill it and Serve yummy Mango Yogurt Parfait!

• Mango Puree - 2 Medium ripe mangos
• Yogurt (Vanilla Flavor) - 200 grams
• Low Fat Granola - 2 tablespoons
• Mango Cubed - for topping (optional)

Steps:

  • Take 2 tall glasses of your choice.
  • Keep the empty glasses in the freezer for 5 -7 minutes before you start to pour in the layers for the parfait.
  • After 5 - 7 minutes when the empty glass is also little chilled, spoon in equal amount of mango puree into the glasses very neatly without spreading it over the edges.
  • Now top each glass with 2 big spoons of yogurt.
  • After this step I again topped my parfait with one spoonful of mango puree, I wanted more of mango puree for my parfait.
  • At this step you can add mango cubes on you parfait.
  • Refrigerate your parfait to set a little more.
  • Final step is that you need to top each serving with a tablespoon of granola just before serving your parfait.
  • Top with nuts of your choice & serve!

3 cups diced mango (about 2 pounds mangoes, peeled and cubed)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 to 2 tablespoons honey, or to taste
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
2 cups vanilla yogurt
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • In a food processor or blender puree the mango until smooth and transfer it to a bowl. Add the lime juice, honey, and cinnamon to the mango puree and stir to combine. Chill until ready to assemble parfaits. To assemble parfaits: In parfait or stemmed glasses spoon a 1-inch-thick layer of yogurt, top with a layer of mango and repeat layering. Chill until ready to serve. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.

¼ cup Mixed Nuts

Steps:

  • Heat a pan, add oats and nuts and toast them till lightly golden. Add in 1 tblspn brown sugar and toss well so the sugar melts and coat the oats.
  • Now take yogurt and 1 tblspn brown sugar and mix well.
  • Take a glass, spoon in mango puree, yogurt and oats. layer this like this. Top with more granola and nuts on top.
  • Chill in fridge till needed.
  • Serve.
