Mango Lime Smoothie image

This thick and creamy Mango Lime Smoothie is the perfect post workout pick me up! Tropical and zingy, it's one super delicious smoothie!

Number Of Ingredients 4

Juice of 1 small or 1/2 a large lime
2 cups (450g) fresh mango chunks
1 cup (200g) ice cubes
2 tbsp agave nectar/honey/sweetener; (down to personal preference, you may not need any depending how sweet your mangoes are)

Steps:

  • Place lime juice, mango chunks and ice into a blender and pulse until smooth.
  • Taste and then add sweetener of choice, if using. Pulse until blended.
  • Divide between 1 large, or 2 small glasses and serve immediately.

With the yogurt this is a delicious and refreshing summer drink. Choose lime flavored yogurt or other tropical-flavored yogurts are also tasty! It also makes an excellent summer cocktail without the yogurt and with the addition of rum. Serve in margarita glasses for a festive touch.

3 mangoes, peeled, pitted, and cut into 1-inch chunks
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar (to taste)
1 tray ice cube

Steps:

  • Place the yogurt, mangoes, lime juice, confectioners' sugar, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until slushy.

  • Squeeze the juice of half a lime into the blender.
  • Add nutmeg and blend.
  • Add a little more milk if the consistency is too thick.
