MANGO MELON FRUIT SALAD RECIPE BY TASTY

MANGO MELON BITES
Steps:
- In a small bowl combine the mustard, lemon pepper seasoning and yogurt, Set aside, to be served with the mango-melon bites.
- Use a toothpick to skewer a grape, a folded ham slice a mango chunk or watermelon chunk. Repeat until all ingredients are used alternating each skewer with a chunk of mango and watermelon. Serve on a platter with the dipping sauce.
MANGO & MELON SORBET
This fabulous fruity sorbet makes a mouth-watering and refreshing finish to any meal. Time does not include freezing.

Steps:
- Combine the sugar and water together in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and place syrup in freezer to cool quickly while you prepare the fruit.
- Puree the mango chunks in a food processor and set aside.
- Puree the melon in the same way.
- Blend mango and melon purees together in a bowl. Stir in chilled sugar syrup, orange zest and juice and place in refrigerator until well chilled, about 30 minutes.
- Pour into a shallow tray and place in the freezer. When the sorbet begins to freeze around the edges, stir well. Continue stirring every hour for 2 or 3 hours, until the mixture has frozen solid.
- Cover, and let the sorbet continue to freeze overnight.
- Let the sorbet stand at room temperature to soften slightly before serving.

Steps:
- In a food processor, purée mango, adding 1 tbsp water, if necessary, to achieve a puddinglike consistency. Add spices; blend thoroughly. Add sugar to taste. Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours. When ready to serve, cut watermelon in half. Using a melon baller, scoop out about 2 cups of balls. Pour purée into 4 shallow bowls and arrange melon balls on top. Garnish with mint sprigs.
