1 teaspoon salt
2 cups eggnog
2 eggs, beaten
4 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl. Add eggnog, eggs, and butter; mix well.
  • Preheat a waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Pour 1/4 of the batter into the preheated iron and cook until waffle is crisp and golden, about 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

6 cups whole milk
1 cup egg substitute
2/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons rum extract
1-1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
French vanilla whipped topping, optional

Steps:

  • In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first five ingredients. Cover and cook on low until heated through, 2-3 hours. Serve in mugs; dollop with whipped topping if desired.

5 slices white bread (1-1/4 inches thick)
2 large eggs
2 cups eggnog
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
Confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Place the bread in an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, eggnog, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. , Grease a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Carefully transfer bread to prepared pan. Brush with remaining butter. , Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 10 minutes. Carefully turn slices over. Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until golden brown and slightly puffed. Dust with confectioners' sugar. Serve immediately.
