12 slices of bacon (cooked, drained, and crumbled)
1 cup Swiss cheese (shredded)
1/3 cup onion (diced)
2 cups milk
1 cup Bisquick
4 Eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Lightly grease a 10-inch pie plate.
  • Add shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and diced onion onto the bottom of the pie plate. Spread evenly.
  • In a seperate bowl, beat the eggs, salt, and pepper together. Then stir in the milk.
  • Add the Bisquick, and whisk until you form a smooth mixture.
  • Pour the Bisquick mixture over the pie plate.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Check for doneness by poking the center with a toothpick. It if comes out clean, the quiche is done!
  • Let the quiche cool on a wire rack for15 minutes.
  • Slice and serve warm.

The very best crustless quiche (Impossible Quiche!) image

This is the VERY BEST crustless quiche! It's known as Impossible Quiche in Australia! Added flour sinks to the bottom during cooking, creating a thin pancake-y crust. You can either add caramelized onions and mushrooms, ham and cheese, like I've stated in the recipe below, or you can keep things super simple and add raw finely chopped veggies like onions, peppers and tomatoes.

1 onion (sliced thinly)
1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)
5 ounces mushrooms ((around 4 medium mushrooms))
3½ ounces ham (chopped)
1 cup grated cheese ((strong cheddar cheeses or similar work well))
½ cup self-raising flour
1½ cups milk
4 eggs (lightly whisked)
2 teaspoons mustard ((I usually use wholegrain, but any mustard works))
salt & pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 390F / 200C.
  • Melt the butter in a large frying pan or saucepan, then cook the onions slowly for about 10 minutes or until soft and beginning to caramelize.
  • Add the mushrooms to the onions in the pan and cook for a further couple of minutes.
  • Grease a standard quiche dish (or other round pan) with a little butter, then spread the onions and mushrooms evenly over the bottom. Scatter over the chopped ham and cheese.
  • Slowly add the milk to the flour in a large jug. Whisk continuously so that there are no lumps, then whisk in the eggs, mustard, and salt and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the fillings in the dish/pan, then bake for 30 (to 40) minutes or until the mixture is just cooked in the centre. Slice and serve!

This pancake quiche recipe came from my head. The pancake is the crust and the quiche is on the top. Preparation is simple and great if you are on the go. I love cheese and eggs, can't go wrong!

2 eggs
4 tablespoons flavored coffee creamer
3 tablespoons pancake mix
1 tablespoon diced onion
1 ounce cheese
1 ounce honey-roasted ham
3 tablespoons shredded cheese
1 tomatoes

Steps:

  • Spray or butter Pan. Mix pancake mix, 2 TBS. of egg mixture, 2 Tbs. Coffee Creamer, Pour in pan. Cook in toaster oven on 350 for 5-7 minutes. Take out and let cool (the top should not be liquid).
  • Mix 1 egg, 2 TBS. of Coffee Creamer, onion in a cup.
  • Place 1 slice of cheese on top of pancake, and pour over quiche mixture.
  • Place 1 piece of cheese on top of 1 slice of honey ham and roll tightly. Cut off the ends. Then cut in small pieces to make small pinwheels. Place them into the egg mixture.
  • Bake 350 for 15 minutes or until quiche is just about done. Place 2 thin slices of tomato on top, sprinkle shreaded cheese and broil until top is crunchy.
  • It's really easier than it sounds. Great for taking it with you. Good hot or cold.
