MARSHMALLOW TOFFEE BALLS



Marshmallow Toffee Balls image

Soft marshmallow filling surrounded with a toffee and krispy coating. We like to make these for our Christmas trays. I don't know if you can get MacIntosh toffee in the USA. We find them with the chocolate bars.

3 macintosh toffee bars
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup margarine
24 large marshmallows
4 cups Rice Krispies

Steps:

  • Over low heat, melt the toffee bars, condensed milk and margarine.
  • Dip the marshmallows into the toffee mixture.
  • Roll in the rice krispies.
  • These can be kept covered at room temp for a couple of day, freezes well.
  • For smaller balls, cut the marshmallows in half before dipping.

From a "please take one" ad. at the grocery store. Recipe uses MacIntosh's Creamy Toffee. Serving & Prep/Cook times are estimated.

3 (56 g) boxes macintosh toffee bars
2 teaspoons cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups corn flakes
1/3 cup toasted coconut
1 cup sliced almonds

Steps:

  • Grease a 9x9 pan, set aside.
  • Over medium heat melt toffee, cream and butter just until bubbly.
  • Fold in corn flakes and coconut, then quickly press into pan. Let sit for 15 minutes then cut into squares.

The best easy recipe I know. Perfect for when you need a quick treat. Although they will give your arm a good workout. And the recpe is really easy to make smaller or bigger.

3 macintosh toffee bars
3 tablespoons margarine or 3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons condensed milk
3 cups corn flakes

Steps:

  • In large pot melt first three ingredients on low heat.
  • When many bubbles appear, pour in cornflakes.
  • Immediately drop spoonfuls onto cookie sheet coated with waxed paper.
  • Eat!
