Lynns Spinach Apple Salad Recipes

APPLE SPINACH SALAD

Steps:

• Combine all of the vinaigrette ingredients together in a bowl and whisk vigorously (or shake them together in a mason jar) to combine.
• Add spinach, apples, red onion, walnuts, dried cranberries, and half of the goat cheese to a large bowl. Drizzle with the vinaigrette, and toss to combine.
• Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining goat cheese, and enjoy!

JACKIE'S SPINACH AND APPLE SALAD

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the spinach, apples, Cheddar cheese and walnuts. Toss lightly to blend.
• In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, maple syrup and olive oil. Pour over the salad, and stir to coat. I like to use a bowl with a lid so I can shake the ingredients. Serve immediately.

SPINACH APPLE SALAD

Steps:

• In a small bowl, combine vinegar, oil, salt and sugar; mix well. Add apple, onion and raisins; toss lightly to coat. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. , Just before serving, combine spinach and romaine in a large salad bowl; add dressing and toss.

SPINACH, APPLE AND PECAN SALAD

Steps:

• In serving bowl, whisk oil, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper until thick.
• Add apple and onion.
• Toss until apples and onions are covered with dressing.
• Place spinach on top, then pecans.
• Just before serving, toss.

SPINACH WITH APPLES AND PINE NUTS

Steps:

• Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over low heat. Add the garlic, pine nuts, and apple; cook until the nuts and garlic are golden and the apple is just soft, 3 to 5 minutes.
• Increase the heat to medium, and add the spinach to the skillet. Stir and cook another 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

LYNN'S SPINACH & APPLE SALAD

Steps:

• In a small bowl, whisk the first six ingredients. In a salad bowl, combine the spinach, apple, onion, blue cheese and walnuts. Drizzle with dressing and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
