This tasty treat has helped my family stay healthy, lose weight and still be able to enjoy dessert! Other kinds of berries or even fresh peaches are just as delicious in this cobbler. -Leslie Browning of Lebanon, Kentucky

LOW SUGAR BLACKBERRY COBBLER
This is a great recipe. I tweaked it to make it low sugar by using half sugar and half splenda. When I was a new bride a girlfriend made this for a tupperware party. I had never had blackberry cobbler before and I could've ate the whole thing, she had doubled the recipe. Hope you enjoy this. They had blackberries on sale at...

MAMA'S BLACKBERRY COBBLER
Alabama has some tasty fresh blackberries. Decades ago, my mama was heading out to pick blackberries to make a cobbler, but she ended up going to the hospital to have me instead. This is her mama's recipe. The blackberries start on top, but then end up tucked under a golden brown crust after it's baked. -Lisa Allen, Joppa, Alabama

- Stir the blackberries and lemon juice together in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together all the other filling ingredients (sprinkle the glucomannan into the water while whisking to prevent clumping) and pour over the berries. Stir to combine. Pour the blackberry mixture into a greased 9x9 inch glass baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the topping ingredients, except the old-fashioned oats and stir until everything is evenly mixed. Spread over the top of the berry layer (your fingers will work the best for this). Sprinkle the old fashioned oats on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until the topping is baked all the way through and not mushy in the center.
- It's a good idea to let this cobbler sit for a little bit before serving to let the glucomannan thicken up.
