KETO SLOPPY JOES

Steps:
- Gather ingredients. Chop green bell pepper and onion. Mince or press garlic.
- Place the ground beef (or turkey or pork) in a medium frying pan and turn the heat to medium. Break meat up into tiny pieces as it cooks. This will take about 7 minutes.
- When the meat is almost cooked through, stir in all of the other ingredients, finishing with the water, last. Bring up to a simmer, turn down to medium low and simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings at the end.

Here is a Sloppy Joe recipe that I changed to make it Low Carb for us Low Carbers. It is very good. It tastes just as good as regular Sloppy Joes. 20 (grams) carbs for the whole batch!

- Heat the butter in a 10” or larger cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add in the ground beef and cook without touching for 4 minutes. Add in the spices. Using the back of a spatula crumble the beef and continue to cook 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove beef to a plate but do not drain the oil from the skillet.
