Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees, and generously grease an 8-inch loaf pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Using a pastry cutter, forks, or clean hands, cut the cold butter into the dry mixture until you have pieces of butter running through the mixture that are about pea-sized.
- Add in the milk, and stir the mixture together until there are no more dry pockets of flour. The mixture should be thick, but still spreadable in your loaf pan. Spread the dough into your prepared pan.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 28-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean with just a couple of crumbs on it. Cool completely before removing from the pan and slicing to serve. Enjoy!
LOAF BISCUIT BREAD
I decided because we have biscuits so often for dinner that I would make my batter in a loaf pan. It really slices well and tastes great with a pat of butter.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan with oil. In a bowl, whisk together the first 5 ingredients. (And optional garlic granules) Carefully stir in cheese cubes until covered in flour mixture, this will help prevent your cheese sinking to the bottom of your loaf of bread.
- In a different bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. Fold the wet mixture into the flour and cheese mixture, stir until just combined, do not over stir. Spread the mixture into the loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes and then remove from pan. Allow to cool for one hour before slicing and serving.
