DARN GOOD MASHED TATERS!
I love making my mashed potatoes for company. They always tell me they are the best mashed potatoes they have ever had! I know, these are not healthy but they are worth the splurge! I hope you enjoy them too!

Steps:
- Place the potatoes in a large Dutch oven, cover with water and add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the potatoes to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium and cook until tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Drain well.
- Place the drained potatoes in a large bowl, add butter and whip the potatoes with an electric mixer until there are no lumps. Pour in the cream and continue whipping until the potatoes are fluffy.

You can make an entire pot of smashed taters in the time it takes to bake a single potato! I like to use baby Yukon Golds because the skins are very thin and easy to mash. Make this to your taste-sometimes I add in garlic and chives or sub shallots for the green onions. - Place potatoes in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, 15-20 minutes or until tender., Drain; return to pan. Lightly mash potatoes, gradually adding milk, cream cheese and butter to reach desired consistency. Stir in bacon, cheeses, green onions, tomatoes, parsley, salt and pepper.

A baked version of the favorite twice baked taters everyone loves. I also add in chopped onion and a bit of diced garlic sometimes, too. Great with ribs, chicken, or beef dishes.

- Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, 20 to 25 minutes. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Mash potatoes with 1/4 cup butter until butter is melted. Beat sour cream and cream cheese into potato mixture until smooth; mix in 2 cups Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese. Spread potato mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1 cup Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese, 2 tablespoons butter pieces, and bacon bits.
- Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, cheese is melted, and edges are crisp, 20 to 25 minutes.
