We've used a low carb barbecue sauce to push the flavor of these Little Smokies over the top!

- Makes Our Low Carb Barbecue Sauce.
- Add cocktail franks to the barbecue sauce and allow to simmer for 30-40 minutes with the lid on. Be sure to stir occasionally.
- Serve and enjoy!

LIL SMOKIES
This is so easy. I make it each year for my Christmas buffet and it is always one of the first dishes to disappear!

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients.
- Cook in crockpot for one hour or on stove top for 30 minutes.
- (I personally like mine to cook slowly for a longer time until sauce thickens and is clinging to the sausages.).
ONE POT GRAPE JELLY LITTLE SMOKIES
Steps:
- In a non-stick saucepan, add bbq sauce, grape jelly, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, chili sauce and cook on medium heat until everything is combined.
- Add mini sausages and stir everything together.
- Cover and cook for about 8 minutes.
- Garnish with finely sliced green onions and enjoy.

- In a large bowl whisk together the bbq sauce, brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, and hot sauce.
- Pour both packages of little smokies into the bottom of your slow cooker. Pour the sauce over the Smokies.
- Cook on low for 2-3 hours or high for 1-2 hours until heated through.

BACON-WRAPPED SMOKIES
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika and cayenne pepper and mix well. Set aside.
- Slice the bacon strips into thirds. Wrap each frank with a piece of bacon, secure with a toothpick and place on a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining franks and bacon. Thoroughly coat each bacon-wrapped frank in the brown sugar mixture and place back on the baking sheet.
- Bake until the bacon is crispy, 12 to 15 minutes. The rub has a lot of sugar in it, so make sure to turn halfway through the cooking process so the bottoms do not burn.
