This recipe was submitted by Kathie Morin for our Wild and Wonderful Recipes, Part 2. The dry mixture placed in a decorative tin makes a special gift for a friend.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup instant tea (dry)
2 cups Tang orange crystals (dry, or similar)
2 3/4 cups sugar
2 (1 3/8 ounce) packages lemonade, mixes (such as Kool-Aid)
2 teaspoons ground cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Steps:

  • Mix all dry ingredients well.
  • Place in an airtight container for storage.
  • When ready to serve, place 1 or 2 teaspoons in cup and add boiling water.
  • Enjoy!

This is a lemony spiced tea mix with cinnamon and clove that makes great gifts during the holidays, or any time!

½ cup instant tea powder
1 cup sweetened lemonade powder
1 cup orange-flavored drink mix (e.g. Tang)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cloves

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine instant tea, lemonade powder, orange drink mix, cinnamon and clove. Mix well and store in an airtight container.
  • To serve, Put 2 to 3 teaspoons of mix in a mug. Stir in 1 cup of boiling water. Adjust to taste.
