1 (3 lb) chicken, cut up
4 cups chicken stock
1 bay leaf
1 onion
1 stalk celery
1 carrot
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 cups cream
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon chives
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon turmeric or 1/2 teaspoon saffron
3/4 cup cooked rice
salt and pepper
chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Cook chicken in broth with onions, celery and carrots.
  • approx 1 1/2 hours.
  • remove skin and bones, chop chicken, skim fat.
  • Return chicken to the pot, add herbs and rice.
  • In a seperate pot, melt butter, add flour, whisk for 1 min, slowly add your cream and milk and whisk over low heat till thickened.
  • Add to the pot with the chicken, rice and broth, stirring till smooth and thick.
  • Heat through.
  • Serve with parsley on top.
  • Enjoy!

This dish is baked boneless chicken breasts or chicken tenders covered with cream of chicken soup. Chicken, creamy chicken, everywhere! If desired, serve over egg noodles.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 pinch poultry seasoning
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish and season to taste.
  • Mix soup with soup can of milk/half-and-half/water (if desired, use 2 cans to make sauce thicker). Pour soup mixture evenly over chicken and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is no longer pink and is tender.

1 medium chicken, cooked and removed from bones
4 cup(s) chicken stock
1 - bay leaf
1 medium onion,chopped
1 stalk(s) celery, chopped
1 - carrot, chopped
1/2 cup(s) butter
1/2 cup(s) flour
4 cup(s) milk
1/4 teaspoon(s) dried thyme, marjoram, and chives
1/8 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
3/4 cup(s) minute rice
1/2 teaspoon(s) tumeric
- salt and pepper, chopped parsley
1 large can chicken can be used instead of cooking a chicken.

Steps:

  • To broth, add everything except flour, milk, butter,and chicken. Bring to boil and cook till tender.
  • Make white sauce of flour, butter and milk. Cook.till.thick.
  • Add to vegetables. Add chicken. Cook.til thick. Can use canned broth and canned chicken.
