1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Oil for deep-fat frying
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1-1/2 teaspoons lemon-pepper seasoning
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Cut wings into 3 sections; discard wing tip sections. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add wings, a few at a time, and toss to coat., In an electric skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°. Fry wings, a few at a time, until no longer pink, 3-4 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. In a large bowl, combine butter and seasoning. Add wings; toss to coat. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.

1 ½ lb chicken wings
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon pepper
salt, to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250˚F (130˚C).
  • Place wings in a large bowl and pat dry.
  • Add the baking powder and salt to the wings. Stir to coat.
  • Spray a baking rack with nonstick cooking spray and place on top of a foiled sheet pan. Distribute wings evenly on top, making sure none of them touch and they are all face-up.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, then increase the temperature to 425˚F (220˚C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until wings are crisp and golden. (Do not remove the wings from the oven when increasing temperature.)
  • For sauce, in a hot pan, melt butter. Add lemon juice, pepper, and salt. Stir until combined.
  • Add wings and stir to coat.
  • Enjoy!

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prep the chicken: Place all wings in a large sized bowl. Sprinkle the baking powder and salt over the wings and toss well, making sure each wing is coated in the baking powder.

I have tried this with several brands of lemon pepper seasonings and found I actually liked the cheapest one the most. It was a tad twangier than the others and was more suited to my liking. I found it at my local food store in the seasoning section. I also tend to lean towards a lemon pepper seasoning that includes a white pepper and less black.

2 cups peanut oil, or as needed
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
6 pearl onions
16 chicken wings

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Whisk butter and lemon pepper seasoning together in a large bowl.
  • Place onions in the preheated oil and cook until just beginning to brown, about 5 minutes. Remove and discard onions.

2 lb (900g) chicken wings, cut into wingettes and drumettes
1 tablespoon aluminum free baking POWDER (21g)
½ tsp salt
Nonstick cooking spray
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon Lemon Pepper Seasoning *see note*
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
Salt to taste *see note*
Lemon wedges

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250F. Adjust oven racks to upper-middle and lower-middle positions.
  • Dry the wings thoroughly with paper towels.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, then place a rack on the foil. Spray the rack with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Toss the wings with baking powder and salt.
  • Place the wings on the baking tray in a single layer.
  • Place wings on the lower-middle oven rack and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Move wings up to the upper-middle rack and increase the oven temperature to 425 F. Bake for 40 - 50 minutes, until golden brown and crispy on both sides, using tongs to flip the wings halfway through.
  • Remove from the oven.
  • Toss with Lemon Pepper Sauce and serve.
  • Combine the ingredients and mix thoroughly

3 lbs chicken wings (party style wings cut into sections)
1 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
oil for frying
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
lemon wedges and parsley sprigs for serving (optional)

Steps:

  • Place the flour in a large bowl and season with the salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Place the chicken wings in the bowl; gently toss to coat with flour mixture.
  • Heat 4 inches of oil in a large pot to 350 degrees F.
  • Add the chicken wings to the pot in batches of about 6-8 wings. Fry for 10-12 minutes or until wings are deep golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with remaining wings.
