My family adores this spaghetti casserole. It's old-timey comfort food. This is how to make baked spaghetti with cream cheese. -Patricia Lavell, Islamorada, Florida

1 package (8 ounces) spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 jar (14 ounces) spaghetti sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese
1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
3 green onions, chopped
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese

Steps:

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until beef is no longer pink, 6-8 minutes, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, salt and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally., In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until blended; stir in green onions. In a greased 11x7-in. baking dish, layer the spaghetti, cream cheese mixture and meat mixture. Top with shredded cheese., Bake, covered, at 350° for 25 minutes. Uncover; bake until cheese is bubbly, 5-10 minutes longer.

1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
2 pounds ground beef
¼ cup chopped onion
2 (26.5 ounce) cans meatless spaghetti sauce
1 (16 ounce) container fat-free sour cream
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
½ cup Parmesan cheese
salt and black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a deep 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Stir in the spaghetti. Boil the pasta until cooked through but still firm to the bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain well.
  • Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over high heat; drain fat. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, sour cream, and 1 cup of the mozzarella. Mix in the cooked pasta. Transfer pasta mixture to prepared baking dish. Top with remaining 1 cup of mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese. Cover pan with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in preheated oven until hot and bubbly, about 30 minutes.

Found this on the back of a package of Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese. I love making pasta casseroles and this sounds good. It also sounds quick and easy which is a big plus on busy week nights!

1 lb ground beef
4 cups mostaccioli pasta, cooked, drained
1 (30 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce (30 oz jar)
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Brown meat in a large skillet; drain.
  • Stir in pasta, spaghetti sauce, and 1/2 cup of the parmesan cheese.
  • Spoon into 13 X 9 baking dish.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and the remaining 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

1 (12 ounce) package spaghetti
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 pinch garlic salt
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 12 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain fat and stir in spaghetti sauce.
  • Drain spaghetti and place in a bowl. Add cream cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt. Stir until cream cheese is melted and spaghetti is thoroughly coated. Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking pan; put spaghetti on top and top with remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, about 30 minutes.

This is one of my mom's recipes that my brother and I LOVED. Nothing too fancy. It's a simple kid-pleaser that adults like too. I haven't made this in ages, but she still makes it for my dad (and my single brother makes sure he stops by that night). ;)

8 ounces spaghetti
1/2 lb ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
16 ounces spaghetti sauce
salt, if needed to taste
pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
12 ounces evaporated milk
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, DIVIDED
1 teaspoon oregano

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish; set aside.
  • Boil spaghetti noodles to al dente according to package; drain.
  • While spaghetti is boiling, brown the ground beef with the onion; drain and return to skillet. Add the spaghetti sauce to the meat in the skillet.
  • Add the hot cooked, drained spaghetti to the skillet; stir well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter; add the flour, stirring constantly to make a roux. Slowly whisk in the evaporated milk.
  • Turn heat to low and stir in the parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup only of the mozzarella. stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  • Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the spaghetti in the 13 x 9 dish.
  • Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of parmesan cheese and then the oregano.
  • Bake; uncovered, for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and starting to brown on top.
