This heart healthy Detox Kale Smoothie is made with kale, celery, apples, ginger and coconut milk - simple, sweet and satisfying with a refreshing taste!

3 cups kale (stemmed)
2 stalks celery (roughly chopped)
3 cups coconut water
1 green apple
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon Wholesome Allulose sweetener

Steps:

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender in the order of appearance.
  • Blend the ingredients in a high-speed blender for 2-3 minutes until you get a smooth and creamy texture.
  • Taste the smoothie, adding more coconut water if it is too thick or adding more sweetener if it's not sweet enough for you.
  • Pour into a cup or mason jar. Enjoy cold immediately, or store in fridge for up to 24 hours.

It took a while to get into the green smoothie trend. We much preferred a sweet tasting berry burst, but this delicious glass of green goodness is divine. The pineapple chunks add a delicious sweet taste to the drink so it doesn't taste as bitter as other green smoothies. It makes the perfect healthy breakfast or post-workout snack.

½ teaspoon Spirulina powder
cup Coconut water
½ Banana
A few cuts of frozen Pineapple
Less then a handful of sliced Mango
50 gr Kale
½ tbsp Ground ginger
A handful of fresh spinach leaves

Steps:

  • Plain and simple, just put everything into your blender, except the spirulina powder, and blend them well, until it's a creamy, even mass.
  • If it's too thick, add some more coconut water, or plain water.
  • If it's too watery, you can add the other half of the banana to make it thicker.
  • After its blended perfectly, put in the spirulina as well, and blend it again.
  • You can rest it in the fridge to chill for 10-20 minutes if you like it cold.
