I've made this creation using the liqueur and the almond extract and both are good. I've also added a good dose of cinnamon at times and used frozen coffee cubes in place of plain ice.. This is wonderful no matter what I do to it.

3/4 cup(s) nonfat milk
3/4 cup(s) strong coffee
1/2 cup(s) kahlua or 1⁄2 cup frangelico
3 cup(s) ice
4 teaspoon(s) sugar/splenda or to taste
- chocolate shavings (to garnish, optional)

Steps:

  • Combine milk and coffee in a blender. Add Kahlua (or Frangelico), ice and sugar. Puree until frothy. Divide among 4 glasses and garnish with shaved chocolate if desired.
  • Non-alcoholic variation: Omit the alcohol and add 1/4 teaspoon or more almond extract.

Steps:

  • Combine milk and coffee in a blender. Add liqueur, ice and sugar.
