An adult spin on a favorite candy, Jolly Rancher Vodka is a gorgeously refreshing cocktail drink made by infusing vodka with Jolly Rancher candies.

4 ounces vodka per Jolly Rancher color
4-6 Jolly Rancher candies ((plus lots more for garnish))
8-12 ounces lemon-lime soda
Ice Cubes

Steps:

  • Place 4-6 same-color Jolly Rancher candies into a jar or container with a lid. Pour 4 ounces of vodka over the Jolly Ranchers and cover the container with an airtight lid. Allow candies to dissolve in the alcohol for about 24 hours. Stir or swirl occasionally to help combine the mixture.
  • When ready to make the cocktails, fill glasses with ice.
  • Add two ounces of candy alcohol to each glass.
  • Fill the glass the rest of the way with lemon-lime soda
  • Top with Jolly Rancher candies and serve.

One day at a trip to an amusement park, I had an apple jolly rancher slushy. When I got home, I thought that I could make an alcoholic drink that tasted like an apple jolly rancher, and set to trying different things. I ended up with a relatively simple recipe that tastes quite good. Be careful though, it can sneak up on you because it does taste so good!! (Also if you want more of a martini-type cocktail, simply strain the liquor into a cocktail glass and omit the soda, it tastes good on its own)

3 fluid ounces apple vodka or 3 fluid ounces rum
1 fluid ounce sour apple liqueur
1/2 fluid ounce orange-flavored liqueur (grand marnier, gran gala, patron's orange, triple sec)
carbonated lemon-lime beverage (anything clear or green tastes good, although I usually use sierra mist free)

Steps:

  • In a shaker with ice combine first three ingredients, and shake vigorously.
  • In two tom collins glasses, strain liquor over ice.
  • Top with soda (about 3 shots per glass, or as desired).
  • Stir lightly and enjoy!

Steps:

  • Place candies in a container with a lid and add vodka. Seal container and place in a cool, dark place, shaking vigorously 1 to 2 times per hour, until candy has dissolved, 3 to 4 hours.
  • Stir sugar into vodka mixture until dissolved.
