Best Ever Turkey Meatloaf image

Turkey Meatloaf recipes come and go, but there's only one 'best ever'-try our Best Ever Turkey Meatloaf recipe and find out for yourself. Minced garlic, chopped onion and lean ground turkey lead to 'loaf nirvana' at 250 calories per serving. Weeknight dinners might never be the same.

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup minced onion
3 cloves garlic minced
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Ground Turkey
1 cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup egg substitute or 1 egg
¼ cup ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¾ teaspoon salt, if desired
barbeque sauce, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer mixture to a large bowl; cool 5 minutes.
  • Add ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and salt, if desired to turkey mixture; mix well. Press into 8 x 4-inch loaf pan. Top with barbeque sauce, if desired.
  • Bake 1 hour or until the internal temperature of meatloaf is well-done, 165ºF as measured by a meat thermometer.
  • Let stand at room temperature 5 minutes before slicing.

Everyone needs a Quick & Easy Turkey Chili recipe. Whip up this hearty weeknight dinner in under 30 minutes with lean ground turkey, onions and garlic.

1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Ground Turkey
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon dried onion
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 (15½-ounce) cans chili beans in spicy sauce, undrained
1 (14½-ounce) can salsa-style or chili-style tomatoes, undrained

Steps:

  • Crumble turkey in large pan; add chili powder, onion and garlic.
  • Spray a skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground turkey to hot skillet. Stir to crumble, approximately 14 to 16 minutes. Always cook to well-done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.
  • Add chili beans and tomatoes; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with desired toppings.
