8 ounces fruit, frozen with syrup
1 cup water, hot

Steps:

  • Dissolve Jello in 1 cup of hot water. Put ice cream in that mixture and stir until dissolved. Then blend in fruit.
  • Pour into a pie shell and refrigerate until it sets. You can use so many different combos!

The pie my brother always wants for his birthday. Very good in a Cream Cheese Crust (recipe #97877).

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
6 teaspoons cornstarch
3 ounces strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
1 -2 pint washed and hulled strawberry
1 9 in.baked pastry shell, cooled

Steps:

  • Bring sugar, water and cornstarch to a boil over medium high heat.
  • Add Jell-O, stir until dissolved.
  • Cool and then add strawberries.
  • Refrigerate about 45 minutes or until it starts to congeal.
  • Put in pie shell and cool completely.
  • Top with whipped cream or ice cream to serve.

1 cup cold milk
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Instant Pudding, any flavor
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)

Steps:

  • Pour milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon into crust.
  • Freeze 6 hours or until firm.
  • Remove pie from freezer 15 min. before serving. Let stand at room temperature or place in refrigerator until pie can be cut easily. Garnish as desired. Store leftovers in freezer.
