This Jamaican Jerk Turkey Sandwich is a bold and smoky sandwich with Jerk Turkey Breast, Chipotle Gouda, Mango Chutney, Cool Slaw, and Avocado Aioli.

2 tablespoons Avocado
½ teaspoon Lime juice
3 tablespoons Mayonnaise (divided)
1 Ciabatta-style sandwich roll
2 teaspoon Vinegar
½ cup Green cabbage (shredded)
2 tablespoons. Cilantro leaves (chopped)
2 tablespoons Scallion (chopped)
1 tablespoon Mango chutney
2 slices Boar's Head Brand Chipotle Gouda Cheese
4 slices Boar's Head Brand Bold Jerk Turkey® Breast

Steps:

  • Place avocado, lime juice and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise in a small bowl and mash together with a fork to create avocado aioli.
  • Slice Ciabatta roll in half and spread both sides with avocado aioli.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise with vinegar. Add shredded cabbage, cilantro leaves, scallion, and toss to coat.
  • Place one slice of Chipotle Gouda Cheese on each sandwich half. Arrange four slices of Bold Jerk Turkey Breast on one half.
  • Spread mango chutney on top of Chipotle Gouda Cheese on other half. Place cabbage slaw on top of Bold Jerk Turkey Breast, then top with second half of sandwich.

1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Dash of ground red pepper (cayenne)
1-pound turkey tenderloin
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 medium green bell pepper, sliced
1/4 cup mango chutney

Steps:

  • Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium. Spray 9-inch sheet of aluminum foil with nonstick cooking spray. Mix allspice, thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper and red pepper; rub seasonings on both sides of tenderloin. Place turkey on foil; top with onion and bell pepper. Cover with another 9-inch sheet of foil; fold edges together to seal packet.
  • Grill 4 inches from heat 20 minutes. Open packet. Remove turkey; keep vegetable mixture warm. Grill turkey 4 to 5 minutes longer or until brown and juice runs clear. Thinly slice turkey. Top with vegetable mixture and chutney.

1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves or 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 pound turkey breast tenderloins
1 small onion, sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
1/4 cup mango chutney

Steps:

  • Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat. Spray 9-inch length of aluminum foil with cooking spray. Mix thyme, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper and red pepper; rub on both sides of turkey. Place turkey on foil; top with onion and bell pepper. Cover with another 9-inch length of foil; fold edges together to seal packet.
  • Grill packet 4 inches from medium heat 20 minutes. Open packet. Remove turkey; keep vegetable mixture warm. Grill turkey 4 to 5 minutes longer or until outside is brown and juices are no longer pink when center is cut. Cut tenderloin in half. Reserve half the turkey for Turkey-Brown Rice Pilaf. Turkey-Brown Rice Pilaf Thinly slice remaining turkey. Top with vegetable mixture and chutney.
