CHILI SOUP

Steps:

• Brown beef and onion.
• Stir in chili powder; add kidney beans, tomatoes and water.
• Bring to a boil; reduce to simmer and cook covered for 1 1/2 hours.
• Fold in cooked macaroni and simmer for 15 minutes more.
• May be prepared ahead and refrigerated.
• Serves 10.

CHILI SOUP

Steps:

• In a large pot over medium heat, combine the ground beef and onions. Saute for 5 minutes, or until meat is browned. Drain excess fat and add the potatoes, beans, tomato soup, tomato juice, chili powder, water and salt to taste. Bring just to a boil and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 1 hour and serve.

WEST VIRGINIA CHAMPIONSHIP CHILI

Steps:

• Brown the ground meats with the salt and pepper in a large stockpot, stirring well to mix and break up the meat.
• Add the stew meat, stirring occasionally for; cook for ten minutes.
• Add the onions and cook, uncovered, for 25 minutes.
• Add the peppers and cook for ten minutes.
• Add the tomatoes and cook for 20 minutes.
• Stir in the next three ingredients and cook for 30 minutes with the cover on; remove cover and continue cooking for an additional hour, stirring occasionally.
• Add the honey 15 minutes before serving.

JAKE'S CHILI-SOUP

Steps:

• Stir tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, corn, vegetable broth, carrots, celery, onion, chili powder, and garlic together in a large saucepan. Place a cover on the pan and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook chili-soup at a simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
• Ladle chili-soup into 4 bowls; top each portion with 1/4 cup Mexican cheese blend and 1 tablespoon sour cream.

CHILI BEAN SOUP

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until heated through.

COPYCAT CHILIS LOADED BAKED POTATO SOUP RECIPE

Steps:

• Melt the butter in a large saucepan, Add diced onions and saute until translucent, but not browned.
• Sprinkle the flour over the onions, stirring to incorporate , cook for about a minute, stirring gently. Add stock and bring to a simmer.
• In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in COLD water.
• To the saucepan, add instant mashed potato flakes, dissolved cornstarch water and seasonings, whisking gently to incorporate all of the ingredients over medium-high heat.
• Bring the mixture to a boil, whisking often. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
• Cut the baked potatoes in half lengthwise, make a couple of slits in the potatoes to make small bite-sized pieces, then scoop out the contents with a large spoon.
• To the soup base, add the potato pieces, 1/3 c. shredded cheddar cheese and half & half, bring it back to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer the soup for another 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
