LIMONCELLO FIZZ



Limoncello Fizz image

Yield 1 Glass

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 sprigs fresh thyme
2 ounces limoncello liqueur
2 ounces Chardonnay
1 cup ice
1 pasteurized egg white or equivalent egg white substitute
1 teaspoon gin
Splash of club soda or seltzer
1 lemon twist

Steps:

  • 1. Place the thyme and limoncello in a glass and mash with a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon for 2 minutes.
  • 2. Strain the limoncello and pour it into a blender along with the Chardonnay, ice, egg white and gin. Blend until smooth and frothy. Pour into a chilled glass and finish with a splash of club soda. Garnish with the remaining sprig of thyme and a twist of lemon.

1 1/2 ounces seltzer
Slice of orange peel

Steps:

  • Fill rocks glass with ice. Pour in vermouth and Fernet-Branca. Stir until chilled and top with seltzer and orange twist.
