This is a very refreshing drink!

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 ¾ cups white sugar
8 cups water
1 ½ cups lemon juice

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.
  • Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water.

2 oz Irish whiskey
1 lemon - juice only
1 oz simple syrup
3 oz ginger beer
1 3-inch sprig of rosemary

Steps:

  • Combine lemon juice, simple syrup, and whiskey in a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for a couple of seconds and pour it into a old fashioned glass with ice.
  • Pour about 3 ounces of ginger beer into the glass, gently stir, and add a sprig of rosemary that is about 3 inches long.

3 unwaxed lemons, roughly chopped
140g caster sugar
1l cold water

Steps:

  • Tip the lemons, sugar and half the water into a food processor and blend until the lemon is finely chopped.
  • Pour the mixture into a sieve over a bowl, then press through as much juice as you can. Top up with the remaining water and serve with plain ice or frozen with slices of lemon and lime.
