- Water, salt and beans for 0 minutes manual high pressure
- Quick pressure release
- Drain water and set aside beans
- Low sauté butter
- Add almonds and garlic and sauté
- Add lemon juice
- Add beans and mix until covered. Cook 1 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste

GREEN BEANS ALMONDINE - INSTANT POT & STOVETOP
Flavorful & healthy Green Beans Almondine! Fresh crisp string beans sautéed with garlic, herbs, and vinegar, and topped with toasted almond chips.

- Add water in the Instant Pot inner pot. Place the washed and trimmed green beans on the steamer basket. Place the steamer basket in the Instant Pot. Close the lid. Press 'Steam' or 'Pressure Cook' for '0' mins. When the time is up, manually release pressure (QR), remove the beans, and discard the water.
- Turn on Saute mode in Instant Pot, medium heat. When it displays 'hot', add a teaspoon of olive oil and roast almond chips or slivered almonds for 30 seconds, stirring continuously. Remove the almonds on a plate. You can skip the oil and dry roast them too.
- Add olive oil, butter, garlic, green beans, and seasoning. Saute for 1 minute. Turn off SAUTE. Add a splash of balsamic vinegar and toss till all beans get coated.
- Serve on a platter. Top with roasted almond chips.
- Heat a wide skillet on medium heat. Add a teaspoon of olive oil and roast almond chips or slivered almonds for 30 seconds, stirring continuously. You can skip the oil and dry roast them too. Remove the almonds on a plate.
- Add olive oil and chopped garlic. Saute the garlic for 30 seconds. Add the beans, seasoning and saute for one minute.
- Add ¼-½ cup water and cover the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or till the green beans cook to your desired texture.
- Remove the lid. If the water hasn't evaporated till now, continue to saute a bit more. Add a tiny splash of balsamic vinegar and toss all the beans till they get coated in it. Turn off the heat. Serve the green beans hot, and top them with the toasted almond chips.

- Place green beans in a saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Cook until beans are al dente, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over low heat. Add olive oil and mix thoroughly. Add almond slivers, mix until coated, and spread out evenly in the bottom of the skillet. Stir continuously, until almonds just begin to turn golden brown. Remove almonds to a small bowl and continue stirring for 1 minute until cool enough to taste. Add salt.
- Pour almonds over green beans and toss to ensure even coating. Serve warm.

- Place beans into a microwave-safe casserole dish with enough water to cover the bottom. Microwave on high power until almost tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain in a colander and refresh under cold running water to keep the nice green color.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add almonds and cook until just starting to turn golden, about 5 minutes, watching closely so as to not burn. Take pan off of heat and add butter to melt. Return to heat and add garlic. Mix in green beans, season with salt and pepper, and continue to stir until heated through, 5 to 7 minutes.
