Steps:

  • Puree 1/3 cup sliced pimientos (drained) in a blender or food processor until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Add 3 cups finely grated sharp cheddar and beat with a mixer until combined. Beat in 1/4 cup mayonnaise.

I would never thought that adding sugar to pimento cheese would be so good! This one will really be a hit at your next party or tailgate.

1 lb velveeta cheese
1 lb medium cheddar cheese
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese
1 pt miracle whip salad dressing
8 oz pimento, drained and chopped
3 Tbsp sugar
*** salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Grate cheeses or cut into small pieces. Allow to soften at room temperature.
  • 2. Combine all ingredients and blend by using mixer, blender or food processor. (It may be necessary to divide ingredients into two batches unless you have a very large mixing container.)
  • 3. Store leftovers in fridge. Can be frozen. Yields: 2 quarts.

1 (4 ounce) jar chopped pimento peppers
1 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
1 large onion, grated
1 pinch garlic powder
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mash the pimentos using a fork. Mix in cheese, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and mayonnaise. Season to taste with garlic powder and black pepper. Spoon mixture into a container large enough to hold the pimento spread, and store in the refrigerator.

1 pkg. (12 oz.) Hawaiian savory butter rolls (12 rolls)
1 jar (5 oz.) KRAFT Pimento Spread
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 jar (4 oz.) diced pimentos, drained
1-1/2 pkg. (9 oz. each) OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Black Forest Ham
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1-1/2 tsp. dried minced onion

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Do not separate rolls. Use long serrated knife to cut block of rolls horizontally in half; place bottom halves of rolls in 13x9-inch pan.
  • Mix pimento spread, cheddar and pimentos until blended; spread evenly onto cut sides of rolls.
  • Place ham on bottom halves of rolls; cover with tops of rolls.
  • Mix remaining ingredients until blended; drizzle over sandwiches. Cover with foil. Let stand 20 min.
  • Bake sandwiches (covered) 20 min. or until heated through.

Our favorite, from Southern Living Homestyle cooking 2002. This makes a lot, I often half the recipe. It freezes well for up to a month. I usually double the pimento. My mom makes it with light velvetta, reduced fat cheeses, lite mayo and splenda and it is still really good.

16 ounces loaf cheese spread, cubed
4 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups mayonnaise
2 (4 ounce) jars diced pimentos, drained
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Process half of all ingredients in a food processor until cheese mixture is blended.
  • Remove processed cheese mixture to a large bowl.
  • Repeat procedure with remaining half of all ingredients.
  • Serve with assorted crackers, or use as a sandwich spread.

1 tbsp grated vidalia onion with juice
1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 cup shredded sharp yellow cheddar ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))
1 cup shredded medium yellow cheddar ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))
1/2 cup shredded mild white cheddar ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ((Best if grated with food processor or by hand finely from a block))

Steps:

  • In a medium sized bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, pimentos, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne together.
  • Next carefully fold in all cheeses with a spatula until well mixed and combined throughout. Add to a container and refrigerate for 3 hours then serve. Use within 1 week.
