BAKED SPIRAL HAM RECIPE



Baked Spiral Ham Recipe image

This baked spiral ham recipe is loaded with sweet and savory flavor, and it's also incredibly easy to throw together.

1 (9 pounds) spiral ham
4 cinnamon sticks
16 whole cloves
¾ cup brown sugar
¾ cup pineapple juice
¼ cup maple syrup

Steps:

  • In a small pot, add the cinnamon sticks and cloves.
  • Add in the brown sugar, pineapple juice, and maple syrup, and stir to combine.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to simmer on low heat for 30 minutes, until it thickens.
  • Place the ham on a baking sheet and use a brush to glaze the ham. Place it in the oven.
  • After 15 minutes, glaze the ham again using the existing glaze in the pan.
  • Finish baking for another 30 minutes, for a total of 45 minutes, before slicing and serving. Use additional glaze left in the pan, if desired. Garnish the ham with pineapple slices and additional spices.
