- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a deep-dish 9-inch pie dish.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef and onion in hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Spread ground beef mixture into the prepared pie dish.
- Blend milk, baking mix, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper together in a blender until smooth, about 15 seconds; pour over beef mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven until biscuit topping is lightly browned, about 25 minutes. Arrange tomato slices on biscuit topping; sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Continue baking until cheese is melted, 5 to 8 more minutes. Cool 5 minutes before slicing.

This is a Bisquick classic. This is one of my husband's favorites. And, I thought I lost the recipe and just found the card for it. Thought I should post it before I lost it. ***you can use the reduced fat Bisquick and skim milk to lower the fat content. it comes out EXCELLENT**

Everytime I went to visit my gram, she would have a batch of this ready for me when I arrived because it was my favorite! I have long since taken her original recipe and tweaked it a couple of times to be the recipe I am going to share today!! I hope you enjoy it as much as me and my friends do!!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 400 chop onion and mince garlic and put in a saute pan with 2 tbsp olive oil. cook until the onion is translucent
- 2. Once onion is translucent, add the ground chicken (or beef if you prefer) and cook until meat is done cooking
- 3. finely chop the pickle spears and mix into the meat mixture and let cool
- 4. mix together milk, eggs and bisquick mix till it's combined, should be a thin consistency so it will run through the meat in the pan.
- 5. put meat mixture into a baking dish, and sprinkle both cheddar and feta cheese on top of it, and then pour in the wet mixture.
- 6. make sure the wet mixture is throughout the baking pan.
- 7. Put into the oven and bake for 35 minutes. Pull out, slice and ENJOY!!!!
