Number Of Ingredients 6

¼ cup cocoa
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
¾ cup white sugar
2 cups milk
1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla

Steps:

  • Whisk the cocoa, flour, and sugar together in a bowl until there are no lumps. Pour the milk into the mixture and whisk until well incorporated. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until its consistency is similar to gravy, 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir the butter and vanilla into the mixture until the butter is melted. Serve immediately.

1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz.
3 Tbsp (heaping) cocoa powder
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 c hot water
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla or coconut flavoring

Steps:

  • 1. Pour sweetened condensed milk into a skillet.
  • 2. Add flour and cocoa powder.
  • 3. Using the back of a large cooking spoon, mix ingredients together thoroughly mashing all the lumps out with the spoon.
  • 4. Add hot water, stirring well.
  • 5. Heat to boiling on medium heat stirring constantly.
  • 6. When gravy thickens, remove from heat and add butter and vanilla/flavoring.
  • 7. Spoon over crumbled biscuits and Enjoy!
