The Hot Apple Pie cocktail is full of liquor and spice and everything nice. Make one during the holidays; it's a lot easier than baking.

- Add the calvados, mead, apple juice, lemon juice and cinnamon-infused honey into a small saucepot and heat until near simmering, stirring occasionally.
- Strain into an Irish Coffee mug.
- Garnish with 2 dried apple slices and a cinnamon stick. *Cinnamon-infused honey: Add 3 to 5 cinnamon sticks to a small jar (4-ounce capacity or so), and fill with honey of choice. Let sit 4 to 6 days, stirring occasionally, and remove the cinnamon sticks once the cinnamon flavor is satisfactory (i.e., present without being overwhelmingly strong).

- Place apple juice, cinnamon sticks, lemon juice, vanilla extract, allspice and ground cardamom in a medium saucepan.
- Warm 2-3 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until mixture is hot and the spices are well blended.
- Add schnapps, if using.
- Divide between 4 mugs and top with frozen yogurt.
- Serve immediately.
- Note: The cocktail can also be served cold.
