CHEESY HOT BEEF SANDWICHES
Lunch for eight in one hearty loaf. Take it out of the oven, and your gang will come running!

- Heat oven to 350°F. Cut 26x18-inch piece of heavy duty foil. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Add soup mix, water, bell pepper and parsley. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir in cheese until melted.
- Cut 1/2 inch lengthwise slice from top of French bread; set aside. With fork, remove inside of bread, leaving 1/2 inch around edges. Place loaf on foil. If desired, reserve bread pieces for another use. Fill indentation in bread with ground beef mixture. Place top of bread over ground beef. Wrap loaf in foil. Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated. For sandwiches, cut loaf into 8 crosswise sections.

HOT AND HEARTY BAKED BEEF SANDWICH LOAF
You used to have to go to the deli to get a roast beef sandwich like this. Now you can make it at home with a can of refrigerated pizza crust!

- Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Place pizza dough in pan; pat out with fingers to completely cover bottom of pan.
- Arrange meat slices, in lengthwise row, down center of dough; top with onions, peppers, potatoes and cheese. Fold over long sides of dough to cover filling, slightly overlapping edges of dough in center. Pinch ends of dough together to seal.
- Bake 15 to 20 min. or until golden brown. Remove from baking pan; let stand 5 min. before cutting into 6 slices to serve.

- In a Dutch oven, cook beef and sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking both into crumbles; drain. Place a third of the onions and peppers in a 5-qt. slow cooker; top with half the meat mixture. Repeat layers; top with remaining vegetables. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and pepper flakes., Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until vegetables are tender. With a slotted spoon, serve about 1 cup of meat and vegetables on each roll. Top with cheese if desired. Use pan juices for dipping if desired.
