Birthday Cake for a Horse image

Haven't tried this yet....I was told by a friend I gave this recipe to that the horse seemed to appreciate it.

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 cups oats
1 cup molasses or 1 cup honey
2 carrots, cut into sticks
1 apple, cut into slices

Steps:

  • Mix the honey and sweet feed or oats together in a large bowl. When fully mixed, place the mixture on a plate and shape into the form of a birthday cake. Use the carrots as candles and the apple slices as decorations.

2 cups oatmeal
1 cup honey or 1 cup molasses

Steps:

  • Combine grain, oats, and honey/molasses in medium bowl.
  • Place mixture on plate.
  • Shape into cake (or any other shape you want!).
  • Use carrots as "candles" if desired.
