Honey Nut-Marshmallow Bars image

Marshmallows, butter and organic honey nut cereal make an easy microwave treat. No baking is needed.

1 bag (10.5 oz) miniature marshmallows
3 tablespoons butter
8 cups Cascadian Farm® organic honey nut O's cereal

Steps:

  • Butter bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan.
  • In large microwavable bowl, microwave marshmallows and butter uncovered on High about 2 minutes, stirring after every minute, until smooth.
  • Immediately stir in cereal until evenly coated. Press in pan. Cool about 30 minutes or until firm. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store loosely covered.

Nonstick cooking spray
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 bag (10 ounces) marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 cups toasted oat cereal
1 cup dried cranberries, or raisins

Steps:

  • Spray a 10-by-15-inch rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Line with waxed paper; spray paper with cooking spray, and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add marshmallows and salt; cook, stirring occasionally, until marshmallows have melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in cereal and dried cranberries.
  • Immediately transfer mixture to prepared baking sheet. Using a spatula (or your fingers) coated with cooking spray, press in quickly and firmly. Let cool, about 1 hour; cut into 24 bars (3 rows lengthwise by 8 rows crosswise).

1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
Pinch cinnamon
3 cups Cheerios (toasted oat cereal)
3/4 cup roasted unsalted almonds, roughly chopped

Steps:

  • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with 2 pieces of parchment paper.
  • Combine butter, sugar, honey, salt, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Continue to boil for 1 to 2 minutes, then immediately remove from heat.
  • Stir in cereal and almonds. Pour into lined pan, pressing down with a rubber spatula. Let cool completely (about 30 minutes), and cut into 16 squares.

2 cups (500 mL) Cheerios™
2 tbsp (30 mL) creamy nut butter
3 tbsp (45 mL) honey or agave nectar
½ cup (125 mL) freeze-dried strawberries
¾ cup (175 mL) white chocolate morsels or yogurt chips
½ tbsp (7 mL) coconut oil

Steps:

  • Combine the cereal and strawberries in a large mixing bowl.Microwave the nut butter and honey in a small microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for about 30-45 seconds, or until bubbling. Pour over the cereal mixture and mix well to combine.Use the Large Scoop to transfer the mixture into wells of the Snack Bar Maker and press down with the Mini Nylon Serving Spatula. Chill the tray in the freezer for about 10 minutes, or in the refrigerator until the bars are set.Heat the white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl until melted in 30-second intervals.
