Use this recipe to marinate raw, deveined shrimp that you intend to prepare on the grill. The recipe comes from Singleton Seafood.

1 cup Dijon mustard
1/3 cup honey, plus
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons scallions, finely chopped
2 teaspoons dried tarragon
1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns, freshly milled
1 lb shrimp, raw, deveined

Steps:

  • Blend all ingredients.
  • Marinate 16-24 large, raw, deveined, THAWED shrimp for 1-2 hours in refrigerator prior to grilling.
  • NOTE: You can reserve a portion of the marinade to brush on while grilling if you wish.

Number Of Ingredients 6

squeeze fresh lemon
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey mustard
2 teaspoons canola oil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
10 ounces large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Steps:

  • Stir together squeeze of fresh lemon, soy sauce, honey mustard, canola oil, and ginger in a meduim bowl.
  • Add shrimp; toss to coat evenly.
  • Cover and let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes, stirring once or twice.
  • Preheat the broiler.
  • Remove the shrimp from the marinade. Discard the marinade.
  • Place shrimp in a single layer on the broiler pan, spaced about 1/2 inch apart.
  • Broil the shrimp until done.

1 lb medium shrimp, raw peeled
1/4 cup honey mustard dressing
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup honey mustard dressing
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
lemon wedge, for garnishing

Steps:

  • Combine shrimp, salad dressing, salt and garlic powder in Medium or Large Ziploc® Brand Zip 'n Steam™ bag.
  • Seal bag and shake to mix ingredients.
  • Pat ingredients into an even, single layer. Place bag in microwave.
  • Cook on full power 2 - 3 minutes, until shrimp are pink and cooked throughout (cooking times may vary depending on size of shrimp). If needed, continue microwaving for 30-second intervals until done.
  • Allow bag to stand 1 minute before opening.
  • Salt to taste. Serve with dipping sauce and garnish with lemon wedges.
  • For Dipping sauce, combine all of ingredints in a bowl and serve with shrimp.

Wooden skewers
3 limes, cut into 8 wedges
3 lemons, cut into 8 wedges
18 large shrimp, shelled and deveined
Olive oil, for brushing
2 tablespoons clear honey
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • For the shrimp: Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. Skewer the lemons and limes with 2 to 3 large shrimp on each stick. Brush with oil so they don't stick to the grill. Either sear on a hot BBQ or under the broiler until shrimp is cooked, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • For the chili dip: In a small bowl mix the honey, mustard, and crushed red pepper flakes. Brush over cooked kebabs and serve.

1 small lime, juiced
1 shot of quality tequila
1 tsp each of dried basil, parsley and oregano
4 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 c honey
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 c olive oil, extra virgin
2 lb uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled and deviened
8 wood or metal skewers

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients, except the shrimp, in a blender and blend until emulsified.
  • 2. Pour into a large Ziploc bag. Add shrimp, and let marinade in the refrigerator for 1-6 hours, no more. *Note: if using wood skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes prior to skewering shrimp to prevent the wood from burning.
  • 3. When ready to cook, skewer 5-6 shrimp per skewer. Discard marinade. Preheat grill over low heat.
  • 4. Cook on the grill at a low heat for about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove, and enjoy!
