HOLLY COOKIES CORNFLAKE STYLE
I just ran across my Mom's recipe for Holly Cookies. The index card is stained with green food coloring and looks like it has gotten alot of use during her Christmas baking. I did however add one little thing, used butter instead of margarine and added Vanilla Extract. I suppose you could add other flavorings as well like...

Steps:
- 1. Cut the candied cherries into fourths(1/4), set aside for decoration.
- 2. Add marshmallows and butter(in pieces) to a microwave safe container. Micorwave until mixture is melted. This will take about 1 - 2 minutes. Stir well to make sure that everything has melted and is smooth.
- 3. Mix in Pure Vanilla and green food coloring. Stir well to combine.
- 4. Add cornflakes to the marshmallow mixture. Stir well to combine.
- 5. With greased or damp fingers, drop the cornflake mix onto parchment paper. I used mini paper cups. Place a red candied cherry in the middle of the "Wreath".
CHRISTMAS HOLLY COOKIES (NO BAKE)
I first had these about 23 years ago and thought they were so unique I asked for the recipe. I made some a few years back and put them around a platter and they made a perfect decoration, so perfect no one ate them. I asked why and everyone said they didn't know they were cookies. lol

CHRISTMAS HOLLY TREATS
Someone brought this in to work and I thought I could copy it without a recipe, and did! Have never worked with marshmallows before, WOW (suggestions appreciated)!! Work fast, it's hot! Hint 1: Buy generic corn flakes at the $1 store! Hint 2: If the "berries" don't stick on the "holly", put the cold holly in the microwave for 20 sec. (on waxed paper) and then add the berries.

This is a very easy, no-bake Christmas cookie recipe. It makes a festive addition to a Christmas cookie assortment. This recipe was originally my Grandmother's and I hope you enjoy. These cookies always bring back fond memories for me of spending Christmas at Grandma's.
