- In a 5- or 6-qt. slow cooker, combine the first five ingredients. Cook, covered, on low 2-3 hours or until heated through. Strain punch, discarding fruit and spices. If desired, serve with fresh berries. ,

HOLIDAY SPICED FRUIT PUNCH
This started with a little of this and a little of that and alot of tasting! After several punch efforts this is the final recipe. Hope you enjoy it! I make a frozen ring of the punch mixture without the rum, but add chucks of pineapple and red cherries so the ring looks lovely floating in the punch bowl. Prep time doesn't include chill time.

- Combine all ingredients EXCEPT ginger ale and Captain Morgan's Rum.
- Let chill overnight or at least 3 hours. Strain.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stud the whole oranges with cloves, and bake for 30 minutes.

- 2. Ladle and strain some of the above mixture into a ring...add some ginger ale then freeze the ring to add to the punch bowl.
