Found this in a compilation of recipes from the A.O.R.N. in Billings. I think it's a copycat of the cappuccino served at Batista's Hole in the Wall in Vegas.

2 cups powdered milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 1/2 fluid ounces brandy

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients and boil.
  • Garnish with whipped cream if desired.

I was taught how to make this by a 9 year old boy (J.R.) who lived in our neighborhood and played with my son.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 slice bread
1 large egg
1/4 teaspoon butter
1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Heat non stick skillet.
  • Tear a circle out of the center of bread.
  • Spread a very, very thin layer of mayo to both sides of bread.
  • Place the bread in the skillet; add a very small amount of butter in the hole.
  • Crack the egg into the hole in the bread.
  • Cook egg till set and bread is browned turn over and brown the other side and egg is done to your desire.
  • Salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
  • J.R. liked to put a little maple syrup on his. You can also toast the holes you tear out of the bread in the pan while egg is cooking and serve on the side.

Roast Chicken with Potatoes

Yield Makes 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 tablespoons olive oil
3 large garlic cloves, minced
3 teaspoons dried oregano
2 1/4 pounds white-skinned potatoes, peeled, each cut into 6 long wedges
1 4-pound chicken, cut into 8 pieces
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush inside of large roasting pan with 2 tablespoons oil. Combine remaining 4 tablespoons oil, garlic, and 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano in bowl. Add potatoes and toss to coat. Sprinkle potatoes with salt and pepper. Sprinkle chicken with remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano, salt, and pepper. Arrange chicken in single layer in center of prepared pan. Arrange potatoes around chicken. Drizzle chicken with lemon juice and any remaining oil mixture from bowl of potatoes.
  • Roast chicken and potatoes until chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender, about 1 hour 10 minutes.
