- Preheat oven to 350°. In a small saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually whisk in milk and Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Shaker. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cheese until melted., Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray. Place half of the potatoes in dish; layer with 1/2 cup onion and half of the cheese sauce. Repeat layers. , Bake, covered, 50 minutes. Uncover; bake until bubbly and potatoes are tender, 10-15 minutes longer.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a large casserole dish.
- In a medium mixing bowl combine the Cheddar cheese soup, onions and black pepper.
- Slice the potato into 1/4 inch slices. Arrange one layer of sliced potatoes in the bottom of the casserole dish. Spoon one layer of soup over the potatoes. Arrange another layer of potatoes and then more soup. Continue layering until all of the ingredients have been used. Sprinkle the Cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Bake until the cheese is bubbly and the potatoes fully cooked; approximately 45 minutes.

- Spray a large glass pan or cake pan with butter-non-stick spray. Layer As Follows: Put 1/2 sliced potatoes in pan; season garlic salt and pepper. Spread 1/2 of the onions and garlic over the potatoes. Spread 1/2 of the Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing over the potatoes. Pour 1/2 of the cheese sauce over the potatoes. Repeat process; Roux sauce will be last. (Sprinkle cumin and cayenne pepper, to taste on top.) Bake in 350 degree oven until potatoes are tender; an hour or longer, depending on how full your pan is. Make Enough Roux Sauce To Cover Potatoes; So Adjust Amounts If Necessary. Roux Sauce: Melt 1 stick Blue Bonnet Margarine in skillet. Add 1/2 cup flour to melted Blue Bonnet Margarine; whisk. Add 1-1/2 Cups milk to butter-flour mixture; whisk. Add cheese to roux; whisk.

- Take the bacon out of the packaging. With a sharp knife, cut the bacon into 1/3" strips. In a frying pan on the stove, on medium heat, Saute the bacon bits for 5-8 minutes or until the bacon is sizzling and turns crispy. Use a slotted spoon and transfer the bacon bits to a paper plate lined with a paper towel to cool.
- Add the cream cheese, 1/2 cup bacon bits, sliced green onions, shredded cheddar, and hidden valley ranch mix all together in a medium-sized mixing bowl ) I like to add mine to my kitchen aide and mix with the paddle, It makes this recipe so easy!)
- Mix the cream cheese mixture all together. During mixing, use a spatula and scrape the cream cheese from the sides of the bowl. You can also use the spatula to shape the cheese ball mixture into a round ball. (You can use your hands if you'd like but the rubber spatula works almost just as well and you don't have to get your hands dirty.)
- Form the cream cheese mixture into a ball with a rubber spatula and place on a platter. If you can't get it smooth or into a symmetrical ball shape, you can use your hands.
- Once the bacon bits are cool, you can grab a handful of bacon bits and cover the sides and top of the cheeseball.
- Add a few sliced green onions and crisp bacon bits to the top of the cheese ball for garnish.
- Cover with plastic wrap until needed and serve with your favorite buttery crackers and veggies. Enjoy!

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Peel the potatoes and set aside.
- Add the heavy cream, whole milk, 3 or 4 thyme sprigs, and ½ teaspoon salt to a small saucepan and place over LOW heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until the edges just begin to bubble, about 5 minutes (don’t allow to boil). Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Cover the bottom of the prepared baking dish with ⅓ of the potatoes, spreading them out evenly over the bottom. Sprinkle evenly with ½ teaspoon salt, thyme leaves from 1 or 2 sprigs, a light sprinkling of pepper, and ½ of the Parmesan. Repeat layering once more with another ⅓ of potatoes, ½ teaspoon salt, more thyme leaves, pepper, and the remaining Parmesan. End with a final layer of potatoes (don't add any seasonings on the top layer).
