Steps:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
- Melt butter in microwave.
- Stir in sugar and vanilla.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Add cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt; beat until well blended.
- Stir in nuts, if desired.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides.
- Cool completely.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- Stir together cocoa and baking soda in large bowl; stir in 1/3 cup butter. Add boiling water; stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining 1/3 cup butter; stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla and salt; blend completely. Stir in milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Spread in prepared pan.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.

HERSHEY'S BEST BROWNIES (9-INCH SQUARE)
This was really good made with dark cocoa. I sprayed the pan with non-stick spray then lined the bottom only with sprayed parchment paper cut to fit the bottom of the pan, which made it so easy to remove the brownies from the pan.

- Heat oven to 350°F Grease 9-inch square baking pan.
- Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon.
- Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in nuts, if desired. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Prepare CREAMY BROWNIE FROSTING; spread over brownies.
- Cut into squares. About 16 brownies.
