The milk chocolate chips (I used the Hershey's Mini Kisses, found in the chocolate chip section) are SO good and contribute to a serious gooey-ness going on in the center of these cookies.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF. Beat together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs, and beat well. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add mixture to the butter mixture, beating well. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet (mine were closer to 2 tbsp). Bake 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

2 cups (12 oz. pkg.) Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375˚. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. PAN RECIPE: Spread batter in greased 15 ½x10 ½x1-inch jelly-roll pan. Bake at 375˚ for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely; cut into bars. Makes about 4 dozen bars.

2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa, Hershey's
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups white chocolate chips, Hershey's Premier White Chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into butter mixture. Stir in white chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff while baking; flatten upon cooling.) Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

1 cup chocolate chips, can use 2 cups instead of PB chips
1 cup peanut butter chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Add to butter mixture. Mix well until you have a smooth chocolate batter.
